PASSES 9-5-1 (5cb/wk for TS Demotions) - Rule Proposal Changing TS demotion penalties
 

In this discussion thread we narrowed down to 4 options in regards to the demotion penalty from Active Roster to Taxi Squad.

Our recent vote ended up 5 votes in favor of option A, 3 votes for option B, 3 votes for Option C, and 1 vote for Option D

Since there was majority support between options A, B and C, this is a runoff vote that drops the lowest vote tally.

Please vote for the options you support below in the run-off (multiple votes are allowed in this runoff, highest majority of votes will be the winner).

Option A - no salary bumps, demoted players are exposed to waivers but claiming team or subsequent teams can only place on active roster for life of rookie contact and if player is waived again original team can reclaim with right of first refusal and demote to their taxi squad without further exposure to waivers.

Option B - reduce salary bumps to 5cbs per week active

Option C - maintain salary bumps of 25cbs per week active however cap at rookie salary maximums

This season as it was a runoff poll to the original poll which started before the draft and therefore did not require a unanimous vote to pass for 2017.
