Reaching and doubling down on Cooper. A little on the slow side but runs all the routes, gets open and catches the ball. Of all the WRs in this class he landed in the best spot with little to no competition for targets. The Rams traded up to get him are smitten with what they have.

I could have gotten him at 2.07 but wanted Cooper and another guy. And that Chicago deal was good for the Da Bears. You be careful, don't do words you may have to eat. These are probably coming back your way.

Also there are caps on number of players we can reasonably fit on the roster so my capital isn't an issue.

Ehhh...just like in poker...you play your cards how you want to...I'm not worried about eating that crow, as I have had that taste before...THAT Chicago deal was NOT good for Bears to move 1 pick for a guy the Niners were never gonna draft...gave up waaaayyyy too much....ALL Bears fans I know back in Chicago (where I am from) are still pissed....He better become the next Joe Montana and fast or hell will be paid...

Bears were never worried about 9ers taking him, they were concerned about another team moving in front of them.

Nobody was moving up but the Bears. They got snowed on that deal by the Rams.

Thats what the media says and they're wrong more often than not..Football media spews more fake news than the news media. One reporter reports something then everyone else falls in line. I'll agree to disagree with the majority on this one.
