Like with Doug Baldwin our organIzation has decided to go in another direction for 2017 and therefore DECLINE to match the Opihi's contract offer.

The Preds thank TY Hilton for his short service with our club, and are sorry that a fluke bad call by an official last year prevented us from advancing past the Swords and getting him a Frenzy championship he deserves.

Coming into 2017 we optimally wanted to retain Antonio and we have. Had his bidding gone over 3k we would have unfortunately moved on from him and retained TY and Doug. We were ecstatic that Antonio chose to resign for fewer cbs than 2016, though sorry that it meant it was time to let Hilton and Baldwin move on.

For 2017 our WR corps will again be led by superstar Antonio Brown, with 2016 rookie sensation Michael Thomas stepping in as WR2, Sammy Watkins playing the slot as WR3 and Chris Hogan at WR4. We feel despite the loss of 2 very very talented top 10 WRs in Hilton and Baldwin, we'll be just fine and can better utilize our limited cbs in other areas of need.

We look forward to utilizing the 2nd 3rd and 4th round comp picks to restock our pipeline for the future.
