Official Rules Updates...
 

Can we possibly have a completed set of CURRENT rules available before any 2017 important dates arise? It would be really helpful if ALL the rule changes were in a different color and/or font. I have been looking at a few old posts and believe I may have missed out on some maneuvering opportunities. Regardless, it would be nice to have the complete set available before hand to A) run my team and B) to suggest other possible changes.

I know it takes a lot of work and am not in a huge rush as Sword celebrates and does the celebratory tour...what, with Matty Ryan at Disney World still, yeah, it gets hectic...(I think he took Kyle with him)

And NO...I am not volunteering to do it...yeeeaaaahhhhhh....no....

P.S. News Flash - not always on here in off season...a text would be nice if something important comes up - oh like a vote or this rules list is available.

Usually the one who asks is the one who volunteers... ;)

It's a lengthy tedious process and not one I have time to do (keeping up with MFL is my share of volunteer work). Pat does the app, which is also a ton of work. Burt's overextended in SACD as it is. Jim is commish but don't think he has time. We need someone else outside of the core to step up the the plate and volunteer to revamp the rules to reflect all the changes over the years.

Pat and I reworked them recently, either before last season or the season before, so they should not be too out of date. I would have to look if I still have editing software, but if anyone can suggest a free editor, I can review both rulebooks again over the winter and get them up to date

Well...the need is current since we had several (a few) changes/updates during the past season...

Are there votes still coming? Was there a final status for rulings on situations like Montgomery??? You know - RULES like that and all....

I still have the software I used last time, so will look into adding the new rules.

As far as voting on brand new rules Chuck, anyone can put up a poll for a vote, or at least suggest a rule to be voted on....so if you have a passion for some change, put it out there
