New Frenzy Owner
 

I've a friend who would like to step up to the plate and take over the Llamas. His name is Nathan George and he resides in San Diego. He's been playing FF with me for 6 yrs or so. He's always been a committed and competitive owner, and I think would be a good fit for the Frenzy. Nathan is a member of the IFFL here on the board, "Soap Box Derby Car".

I also have a second owner interested in the slot. His name is Pat Mullins, known as The Black Hand here on the board. An even more involved owner, Pat would be a great owner in the Frenzy as well.

How do we want to do this? It would be nice if we had some sort of simple application that would allow us to choose between owners when we have multiple guys interested.

Any thoughts?

Have them each e-mail you as to why they'd be good Frenzy owners, their experience in contract leagues (if none, why they'd feel they can grasp the concept), their experience in fantasy football in general, and their dedication to a league that has a ton of off-season activity.

Let them know that their replies will be posted on our board and that we'll post a vote on which we prefer to offer the Llamas up to.

Why would you be a good Frenzy owner?

• very experienced...8th year playing fantasy football
• die-hard fantasy footballer
• gives me opportunity to be involved in FF year round
• very committed to fielding a competitive team every week...in other words: whuppin' your asses every week

What is your experience in contract leagues?

• 4 years

What is your experience in fantasy football in general?

• 8th year
• 2 Championships (1999 pre-IFFL and 2000 IFFL)
• Playoff contender every year

What would your dedication be to a league with a ton of off-season
activity?

• football and shit talkin' all year long? *is this heaven?
• i hate to lose and in order to stay on top, i'd have to be dedicated all year long in this league

If you can get him access to the Frenzy forums, I'll get him caught up on rules and procedures. Also, Llamas do you happen to have an updated roster app for your team? It would help the transition to let him see the team as it stands when he takes over.

I do have an updated app for my team. Can you post his e-mail? I'll shoot it over with my 2 cents on the team.

He should have access to the Frenzy boards now.

I think the Llamas did a great job of rebuilding over the off-season... thanks Rich! Now we'll see what the Black Hand can do! Welcome to the league!:D

I'll chime in and say that the Llamas were a great addition the the league, it's a shame their tenure was so brief! The Black Hand has some shoes... er, gloves to fill!

I handed off the roster app and my notes to The Black Hand, so your new owner should be good to go... although I know it can be a challenge to get up to speed on the rules and FA process!
