No, there's always been a few days lag. Honestly we probably shouldn't open In-Season until after the week 1 games.

The rules state:
The In-Season Free Agency period begins at 12:00am ET the same evening the Off Season UFA period ends

id say because of the dispute that if this was a valid bid, the timer needs to be restarted. when, I have no idea.

Well, rules are rules. Not sure what Mike was seeing, whether he was going by the example dates in the rules? But we are having UFA bidding in SAC'd and using same basic rule book...I don't ever recall having ANY time during the year where once bidding starts, we have any days where no bidding is allowed until season is over.

But yes, I think we should just restart the clock, rather than just mark them sold, since people may have stopped bidding due to Mike's comments and thread title change

I was following suit on Patrick's comment with Bryant. Bryant may not have cleared waivers yet though.

The Key Dates post does state 9/1 which is an error. I suppose I should have researched the actual rule book instead of following Pat's lead....

Yes, Bryant was dropped in the off-season which has a 72 hour waiver period. That's why I stopped the FA bidding on Bryant. I think the clock should be restarted on Garcon.

Just rechecked my excel spread sheet. With the Bryant cut, I had an empty spot. So I'm good. No cuts needed.
