1.07 WR Michael Thomas, Saints
 

Big, tall, great work ethic, good route runner, great hand-eye coordination. Landed in a very good situation with HC Sean Payton and an elite QB in Drew Brees (albeit his waning years). Thomas is a proactive player who likes to be at his QB's side all the time, and has already tweeted out to Brees that is was time to get to work. I expect them to develop good chemistry early.

Thomas is a player we've targeted all along should our efforts to move up for Treadwell not materialize (we tried but alas the Dogs had slightly more to offer than we did). I wouldn't say Thomas is our consolation prize per se, as he's really who we expected to draft all along.

Not by design, however, we have 2 starting WRs off that week already (Hurns and Baldwin).
