Burners send WR Emmanual Sanders Denver (1210/1) to Chi-Town Cards in exchange for Cards 2016 2nd round rookie Draft Pick (2.04).

We hated to let such a talented receiver go but we need to free up some cb's so that we can make some RFA moves...

Cards confirm trade above...with the crazy over bidding on other WR on the market, Cards will roll the dice that DT will give up many touches to Sanders...no matter the QB...thin offensive draft class any way...would have thrown in a 3rd round also...not really...lol...Card GM trying to make up for lost time...

Great trade for both teams. That said, wish John would have made it public that Sanders was available, think he'd have gotten more, especially in light of the RFA bidding. I know I would have jumped in.

Thanks Pred? I think? LOL...seemed like a spur of the moment deal. The offer and accept were quite fast...I honestly think my interest last off season is why we were able to close the deal so quickly...ah well...
