new 2 pt conversion rules
Do we want to amend our scoring rules to account for the new 2pt conversion rules the NFL are implementing this season?

Re: new 2 pt conversion rules
I would not be opposed to giving 2 points to the player who scores a touchdown off a failed 2 point conversion.

Re: new 2 pt conversion rules
I'd vote yes to match the current NFL rules.

Do it like the NFL does.

Yes, please make the chance to match current nfl rules. The couple pts a year this may provide will be crucial..or not. But the scoring system should match.

Re: new 2 pt conversion rules
Here are the two new additions to MFL scoring, based on the new 2 pt conversion in NFL:
Defensive Conversion Returns: This is the number of defensive two point conversion returns in a game. This is a new NFL statistic for 2015. This can be scored by blocking an extra point attempt, or by intercepting a 2-point conversion pass attempt, or by recovering a 2-point conversion fumble, and then returning it all the way to the other end zone. Safeties for 1 Point: This is the number of one point safeties in a game. This is a new NFL statistic in 2015. This can be scored on a 2-point conversion attempt by tackling the opponent in their own end zone. Shall we add these two categories, and if so, what points will be assigned to each? Rushing or Receiving 2 pointer is worth 2 points. A regular 2 point safety is worth 6 in our league. 2 and 3 maybe? |
