4.12 RB Trey Williams, WAS
 

I thought I was going to take a flier on one of two WRs that sat atop my "best remaining players" list. But have decided, instead, to go with this little-known RB out of Texas A&M, Trey Williams. He could very well be the most-elusive RB in this year's draft class. Don't believe me? He's been getting out of tight situations since his toddler years.

He was coached in high school by Danny Amendola's father, and amassed 8,110 rushing yards on 935 carries with tons of highlight-reel runs. He was highly-touted when he signed at A&M, yet surprisingly was underused in college. JUST WHY is the $64K question!?! Was it a coaching decision to go with RBBC? Or some flaw in his character that let him to being platooned? We don't know.

He's got a great burst & low center of gravity. He's the kind of player that can take the ball to the house every time he touches the ball. In Washington, if he can make a splash over the summer & secure a spot on the roster, he could edge out Chris Thompson & become a pass-catching back (ala Darren Sproles) that has a chance to show his stuff every Sunday.

Does he have an uphill battle? Sure. But the OPIHI have the luxury to have him sit on our practice squad for a few years to see if he can live up to the amazing potential he's yet to fully realize. Welcome to the championship squad, Trey!

Avoiding trouble with Johnny Law does not count as getting out of "tight situations"...good luck with the pick and defending the title...
