Royal Hawaiian Opihi of Palmdale California...
 
It just doesn't have the same ring to things. The Preds will miss visiting the islands for their annual matchup against the Opihi, but look forward to conquering them in California!

On the plus side, the LA region (sorta) gets a championship franchise!

In all seriousness, congrats to Jim on his upcoming transfer to Palmdale, California to lead a new congregation. They're getting a great Pastor.

I suspect the Preds will be referring to Mr. White's franchise this way regardless of what they decide for their relocation name!

Returning tomorrow to the islands after my first scouting trip to Palmdale.
MAN IS IT DRY!
Gonna have to think long and hard on how I change the name. OPIHI will still be in the moniker, however.

Move date is July 1.
All players have exactly 68 more days left in paradise... use them wisely, men. Use them wisely.

PS. Might as well have the league trophy mailed to Palmdale in July...
