Try not to laugh too hard...

While on the Norwegian Breakaway pre-inaugural back in early May, I participated in a quick photo shoot that was primarily to provide agents with professional head shots for their own marketing, though they did say they may select some for Norwegian's Partners First national ad campaign.

Well, I was contacted a month or so later to consent to one of my pics being used in the national marketing campaign. I figured it'd be a small ad, maybe a quarter page, had no idea how they were going to use it or even how the pic turned out.

Well, I learned on Friday that my ad was published in the July 8th issue of Travel Weekly, a highly read industry publication for travel professionals. What surprised me however, is that it wasn't a small ad, but a huge 2 page spread! And let me tell you, this is not a small publication, the paper is about 24"x20" or so, making this 2 page ad somewhere approximately 24"x40"! I can't believe how big the ad turned out being!
