Just in case you can't recall, here's where the rulebook is:

I just updated the rules with the various changes, please let me know if I missed something.

okay read over the rules...it seems recent rule changes have not been added.

outside of no DS cap, what do I need to pay attention to.

And am I correct that you cannot exceed cap at anytime, including bidding?

You are correct, we haven't yet integrated the recent rule changes into the official rules document. We'll get to that eventually LOL.

To answer your question, you can exceed the cap and or roster limit in bidding, however if a bid is won you have 24 hours to get under said limits or face some fairly severe penalties.

The summary thread Dodgers posted has a decent breakdown on whats changed from 2002 to 2003.

One huge change that isn't mentioned in that thread is the elimination of the cap on the DS, freezing of salaries of players on the DS until activated, and the restriction that the only way onto the DS from here on out is through the draft.

I have a copy on my computer... I'm assuming it's already uploaded & current in the rules link online. Am I incorrect?

I had that section deleted when I revised the rules but I noticed Patrick put it back in before he added them to the web page... I'll work on my copy to see if I can figure out how to do that. I think Patrick is tied up working on both leagues roster apps so he doesn't have time to mess with it right now.

I am going to be working on updating the rule book. I have downloaded new software, and seems pretty easy to use. I think I figured out how to add the links back in, so you can go from one section to the next by clicking on an Index topic.

It may take some time, but will begin working on it and let everyone know when its ready.

I might need help uploading it to the link above, and maybe someone to proof read it, to make sure all is good.

If someone wants to compile all the rule changes since Jan 2011, it would be of great help. I'll begin working on getting the links working again.
