Rules Clarification - Supplemental Draft
The rules for determining Salary are not completely clear in rulebook, so I would like to add some clarification. The salary for a player selected in current year Supplemental Draft, should be based on current year draft pick. The draft pick taken is noted to be the next years pick, but we cannot wait a year to assign salary, thus the pick taken could be different slot than salary given.
Make sense? Any objections? If there are, a better alternative to determining current year salary? |

Makes sense, no objections.

Re: Rules Clarification - Supplemental Draft
So just for example to understand. The Bloodsuckers got Pryor with a 3rd rd pick last year. In the 2011 draft, he was in the third draft slot so Pryor's salary should be that for a QB taken at 3.03, which is 320. Is that correct?

Correct Scott, rather than the 3.12 slot he gave up in 2012 draft.

Re: Rules Clarification - Supplemental Draft
Sounds good, as that's really all we can know at that point of the season.

Re: Rules Clarification - Supplemental Draft
Makes sense since tiebreakers are based on that year's rookie draft.

Re: Rules Clarification - Supplemental Draft
I would also clarify as current year natural draft pick for that round even if it was traded.
