I was trying to land him at a cheaper salary... ugh the dynasty that could have been...

well, my Predators are still a dynasty, but just imagine how much better they could have been! ;)

I know I could probably look at the draft list... but who, besides the Devil Hounds are involved in this trade? And what's up with the Portis reference? Man, I guess word travels slow out to the islands!?!

This is a deal from 2 years ago, I was just pointing out my stupidity after the brilliant 18 player deal I had engineered a couple weeks earlier... I misjudged the draft and blew a golden opportunity to really dominate from my 18 player deal. :D

There wasn't a lot of hubbub about him at the time, so I stupidly thought the WR's would go (Stallworth and Lelie along with Shockey at TE), leaving Portis down to me at 1.9... STUPID STUPID STUPID!
