Is this considered the offseason or do I need to make cuts to cover McCoy's salary and years? Also, I was not sure when the contracts move to next year as once that happens I would be in good shape without cuts. Just let me know as I don't want to get hit with a violation.

My take is, we are in Off-Season, thus trading is allowed again. Contracts do not roll over until March 31st at midnight. So we are still under 2010 cap, so yes, you need to fit him into current salary. We are also in Soft Cap period, so half of the cut goes against 2010 salary, and the other half against 2011 salary cap.

Okay, one last question as it looks like some cuts will be needed. Do we still need to have 5 K, TE, Def on the active roster?

No, and that is clear in the 2010 rules revision...hopefully it will be replacing the 2005 version on the Frenzy web page soon???

You don't need to keep 5 TE/K/Ds... but you can't use those spots for other players.
And I think the rules are ready to upload... (prior to the most recent voted-upon changes, of course). Not sure what the hold up is.
