IMPORTANT: Starting threads for UFAs, Drops, Promotions, etc...
 

When you start a thread for a new players, please take the time and use the following format for the thread Title:

Position, Player, NFL Team for example QB, Brett Favre, MIN

Just as important is spelling the player's name properly. With the time it takes to manage the boards and the roster app, it greatly helps in finding discrepancies.

For example if there is a discrepancy with Brett Favre and you spell it Farve in the post, it takes me more than 5x longer to track down the proper threads. Also do not use abbreviations like B.Favre. In order for me to find this in a search i would have to search for "B.Favre" because it sees that as one word (searching for Favre will not find B.Favre).

For defenses, please list the full team name (e.g., San Francisco 49ers) instead of abbreviations or airport codes.

Also note:There are Posting Icons for EVERY NFL team at the bottom of the message box. Please use the correct post icon to represent the NFL team the player plays for.

I try to correct them when I mark them sold, though it'd be much easeir if everyone followed the format!

Reminder to please spell player names correctly. It helps greatly when working on discrepancies.

Reminder! Posts are getting sloppy again.

Also if you are cutting or promoting someone from TS or PS, please note that in the subject. This is helpful when editing app to know which roster they are on, to allow teams considering claims as to player eligibility, and to know if promoting PS to TS or Active.

Also if promoting someone from PS/TS to Active and they are not THIS season's rookies, please post them as a separate thread since it's not a new contract declaration - contract was declared in previous years.

Please take the extra 5 seconds to make clean, accurate posts. It truly makes roster app adjustments so much easier and saves time. This seriously took way more time this season than it should have. Thanks!
