I should have tendered OchoCinco as a first rounder...

Problem is, you never know until the bidding really gets going.

I guess that means you don't plan on matching...maybe I should get in the bidding war....

 I really undervalued Donald Driver, :dammit:. Hope I get better at this.

You just never know Bobby....it also depends on your plans...if you planned on keeping him, then your placement was correct..if you had no plans to keep him, then you might have risked a higher placement...but who knows....WR do seem to be going higher and higher each year...one reason I franchised Wayne....

Re: 2010 SAC'd Official RFA Commentary

OK, brain fart here...do we increase the clock to 72 hours for Friday and Sat bids, like we do in UFA bidding, or does RFA bidding ignore the weekend? Nothing specifically says so in Rules, whereas it does in other sections on bidding...

Re: 2010 SAC'd Official RFA Commentary

I thought UFA bidding increased from 24 to 48 hours, so I don't think it applies here.

Re: 2010 SAC'd Official RFA Commentary

Off season UFA bidding starts in May, and is on a 48 hour clock, just like RFA bidding....in season FA bidding is on 24 hour clock....

Re: 2010 SAC'd Official RFA Commentary

I would think all the clocks would be handled the same (but thats just me). I had clock management issues last year so i'm looking to keep it simple. Either way is ok with me.

Question - when do the 1 year people fall off my Roster, I need to know how much money I really have there?

Re: 2010 SAC'd Official RFA Commentary

They fell off on April 1st.....updating the 2010 website takes a considerable amount of time, which I have yet to have found...I am hoping this weekend.

In the meantime, Patrick has updated the 2009 roster app, and has synced it up to the 2009 website...so both are up to date and accurate to the best of our ability. Also, Bryan has update the Rookie Bonuses that will be applied to 2010 salaries.

So between the two, you should be able to determine your 2010 roster and salary fairly quickly...just do the following:
1) remove all 1 year players you have not made as RFA's (RFA tendering salaries are included until they are sold and you decline - if you match, add that in also)
2) Multiply all remaining players salaries by 10%, rounding up
3) Add on rookie bonuses
4) Include any carryover cap penalties (these will be 50% of cut penalties made during the Soft Cap period and are listed in the App)

Am I forgetting anything?

Re: 2010 SAC'd Official RFA Commentary

The Roster App carries the salaries past the current year so you can see the salary amounts for 2010 on there. This will be off a bit because of rookie bonuses and any cap penalties. But this should give you an approx amount of the money left.

Re: 2010 SAC'd Official RFA Commentary

I searched through history in forums, and reread rules, and I am not seeing anything specifically stated we stop the clock on weekends during RFA bidding...since we have a 48 hour clock, that seems to be sufficient....

So clock is always 48 hours for RFA bidding...no stoppage.
