TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT - Freedom send Pennington to Dodgers
 

The Freedom have sent Chad Pennington to the Dodgers for a conditional 3rd round pick in the 2003 draft. The conditions are as follows:

Top 10 QB in 2002 = 2003 1st rounder
11-20 = 2003 2nd rounder
21 or lower = 2003 3rd rounder

This deal was inspired by the numerous conditional pick deals orchestrated in the NFL this off-season and maximizes both teams rewards while minimizing risks involved. More on this will follow in Linus’s big trade wrap-up.
