Is it a good thing my foundation for the next 5 years has been built by Al Davis?

In all honesty DHB has speed, a great work ethic, and can make the acrobatic catch. Cable has done a great job of picking guys who work hard and I think DHB's work ethic will help him erase any issues regarding his inconsistent hands.

He also gets to line up against the best CB in the league every day in practice and if you don't have a veteran WR to show you the ropes the next best thing would be going against Asomugha every day.

I was considering Nicks with this pick (who I believe is a safer pick, but lower ceiling) due to rostering Eli, but DHB potential and NFL team were too strong to pass up.

At this point in the draft... it's a big-upside pick. Might not translate into immediate on-the-field playing time this season... but I think he's a good pick.
