I felt like you do now when I first joined the FRENZY. I'd only played in a 6-team playoff up until that point. However, I've seen how those playoffs are really a "on any given Sunday" thing... and the best teams don't always win the championships.

But having played in the Frenzy now for a few seasons, I've really come to see the rewards of a 4-team playoff. In general, it rewards hard work (Dodgers' current season notwithstanding)... you only have to win 2 games instead of 3+.

Even if my team doesn't qualify for the playoffs this year, I'll still be in support of keeping it a 4 team playoff. That's just my feeling.

With 6 teams, that payoff for hard work is in the form of an off week, so you still only have to win 2 instead of 3 if you have a superior season.....not that I am in favor of moving to a 6 team playoff, just my 2 cents...

That's right... I guess I'm still "smarting" from being the #1 seed twice in the dynasty league I play in and losing in the playoffs during week 17, when most of my studs were resting on their NFL teams. That just didn't seem fair. But such is the life in FF.

We can avoid a week 17 Championship by doubling up on a regular season game (2 non-division games) or shortening the regular season by one game.

Again I think the pay off of more league activity as more people have a chance to enter playoffs, is better for the league than having a "deserving" champion. Although, I would argue a WC team winning 3 in a row is just as deserving as a #1 seed winning 2 games.
