Better late than never...
Anquan Boldin's 35 points was the 3rd highest WR score in Bay Area Bloodsucking Insects history, and the highest since Steve Smith's 39.8 points in week 3 of the 2005 season. Kellen Winslow passed Shannon Sharpe to move into 8th place all time among TEs in Frenzy history. Winlsow has 312.4 points in 30 games for a 10.4 average. Sharpe had 304 points in 35 games from 2001-03 for a 8.7 average. The Philadelphia Freedom started the season 2-0 for the second time in team history (2006). The Freedom extended their personal best winning streak to 6 games, dating back to last season. Their 135.25 points was the 10th highest score in team history. Aaron Rodgers' 35.2 points was the 7th highest QB score in team history, and highest since Byron Leftwich scored 36.4 points in week 11 of the 2005 season. Brandon Marshall's 31.6 points was the third highest WR score in team history, and highest since Lee Evans set the team record with 44 points in week 11 of the 2006 season. The Royal Hawaiian Opihi started the season 2-0 for the third time in team history, and second year in a row. Their 165.75 points was the 6th highest score in team history. Jay Cutler's 41.7 points was the highest QB score in team history, surpassing Aaron Brooks' team record of 39.1 points scored in week 3 of the 2002 season. Brian Westbrook's 35.8 points was the 7th highest RB score in team history. Clinton Portis passed Priest Holmes to move into 5th place all time among running backs in Frenzy history. Portis has 1410.2 points in 63 games for a 22.4 average. Holmes had 1404.95 points in 48 games from 2001-05 for a 29.3 average. The Soap Box Derby Cars started the season 0-2 for the second time in team history (2005). Their 46.35 points was the lowest score in team history, besting (or worsting) their previous worst of 66.35 points scored in week 14 of the 2005 season. The Liquid Swords started the season 0-2 for the second time in team history (2005). The Swords have lost 3 games in a row (dating back to last season) for the first time in team history. Their 83.55 points was the third lowest score in team history, and lowest since scoring 81.5 points in week 10 of the 2005 season. The Valencia Attack are 2-0 for the first time in their brief history. The Attack have won three straight games, tying their personal best. Their 120.45 points was the 10th highest score in team history. Adrian Peterson's 27.25 points was the 6th highest RB score in team history. Santana Moss' 28.85 points was the 3rd highest WR score in team history. Santana passed Bobby Engram to become the Attack's 2nd all time leading receiver with 117.9 points in 12 games for the Attack. Tony Gonzalez' 12.4 points was the 3rd highest TE score in team history. Nick Folk's 14.8 points was the 2nd highest K score in team history. Buffalo's 9 points was the 5th highest D score in team history. With their 9th career win, the Attack passed the Devil Hounds, Black Watch Royal Highlanders, to move into 14th place all time in career wins, tied with the Amish Rake Fighters. The St. Paul Popes started the season 0-2 for the first time in their brief history. Their 93.55 points was the 5th lowest score in team history. Santonio Holmes' 13.15 points was the 10th highest WR score in team history. Ryan Longwell's 20.4 points obliterated Adam Vinatieri's previous team record of 13.1 points scored in week 3 of last season. Tampa Bay's 6 points was the 6th highest D score in team history. Brett Favre passed Tom Brady to move into 4th place all time among quarterbacks in Frenzy history. Favre has 1420.95 points in 66 games for a 21.5 average. Brady has 1410.85 points in 57 games for a 24.8 average. Julius Jones passed Edgerrin James to become the 2nd all time leading rusher in Nittany Dodgers history. Jones has 491.85 points in 29 games for a 17.0 average from 2004-08 for the Dodgers. James had 474.5 points in 25 games for a 19.0 average for the Dodgers from 2002-03. After starting the season 0-2 in both of their previous season, the Amish Rake Fighters started 1-1 for the first time. Their 132.6 points was the third highest score in team history, and highest since their team record of 148.2 points in week 7 of the 2006 season. Ernest Graham's 23.05 points was the 10th highest RB score in team history. Calvin Johnson's 27.9 points was the 2nd highest WR score in team history, behind only Anquan Boldin's team record of 37.1 points scored week 3 last season. John Carlson's 10.8 points was the 8th highest TE score in team history. Stephen Gostkowski's 13.7 points was the highest K score in team history, surpassing his own team record of 13.5 scored in week 6 last season. With their 9th career win, the Amish Rake Fighters passed the Devil Hounds, and Black Watch Royal Highlanders to move into 14th place all time in career wins, tied with the Valencia Attack. |
