Word from Brett...
 

I spoke with Brett for about 45 minutes this afternoon. He's recovering well and is on target for a mid July return. I won't get into the depth of his health issues, however, he is definately over the worst of it and the road ahead looks bright.

We talked about his teams, and are relatively on the same page for what I've done thus far (blowing up his SACD squad).Brett will be easing back into life when he returns, thus I will definately be a part of his teams throughout the season with him, though the plan is for him to take back over most of the day to day operations.

Jim (Opihi), keep Brett's health issues on you prayer board. He told me that meant a lot to him and he's reconnected a bit with his faith over the past 2 months.

Absolutely! Glad to hear he's back on the road to recovery. We all need all the help we can get in that area!

Good to hear. I'm sure we're all hoping he returns to full health as soon as possible.

I don't know what it would be like to not be making a weekly trade offer to acquire AP from him ;)

What's up Boys? Thank you for all the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. It means alot to me. I am using a friends CPU right now. It will be another week before I am on line with my own computer. I will be ordering DSL tomorrow, but it takes a week for them to UPS the modem to me.

I would like to thank Mike for all of his help the past couple of months and in the future with my(our) teams. I will be reaching out to you (Mike) in the next couple of days to update you on where I am now and my new phone #'s.

I am looking forward to the new season and happy that I still have the opportunity to participate in the league with y'all. Thank you again for all the understanding.

Well Guys... Looks like I will be on line and ripping on Friday Aug. 1st.. Unfortunately that is the first date available for the phone company to come out and rewire my phone line. Of coarse, it is one of those "be there between sun up and sun down" things. I may not be back on line until then. I will try but can't be sure.
