UFA period?
 

According to our rules... the UFA period starts:

June 1st at 12:00am - this date will also be somewhat flexible in that as it would not open until 48 hours after the rookie draft has been completed - Opening of the UFA period

Wanting to be "flexible," it appears we're in that >48 hour period following the draft. I'd like to suggest we start the UFA period tomorrow or Thursday, if that's okay with everyone. But I want to make sure everyone's on board. Please sign in to acknowlege you're ready for the UFA period to start!

We can if everyone is on board, but I think that we should just wait the 4 days until the first of June. Then at least everyone has fair warning (the specific date in the rules) that the UFA period is starting.

I'm fine either way, but agree that since we are so close to June 1, unless everyone actually visits this thread and posts that June 1 probably makes the most sense.

Makes no difference to me: my cap space will be as bad on June 1 as it is today.

However, I agree that everyone would have to come in here and agree. But I give it my blessing if people want to do it.

I'll keep track of the teams who are ready early in my initial post... and if everyone signs off, then we'll start early. If not, June 1 will be the date.

I would prefer to wait as I am on vacation this week and was figuring we would get rolling next week. However, if everybody else is ready now that I am okay with starting early (not like I intend to be very active anyhow).

Well... everyone else pretty much said it doesn't really matter.

It's already Wednesday night. We could start tomorrow & have two days before the weekend... or we could just wait until Monday and get everyone off on the same page with a whole week to run up the tabs on those UFAs.

I'll leave this open for a few more hours... before making my final decision. Any other opinions?

Sorry I was not more clear before I am fine with starting early. I am not planning on being too active so I don't think it makes a difference for me really but I will check in to see what's going down.
