End of RFA
 

Correct me if I'm wrong and point me in the right direction but I thought if someone was currently being bid upon before the end of RFA that bidding would still continue with the 48 hour time period - to end the e-bay style bidding - at the end of RFA and offseason FA. Am I missing something?

I also looked in the rules and didn't see anything about being sold immediately at the end of RFA.

That's what I was looking for last night! I read the rules since I couldn't find anything and interpreted it wrong (we need this info in the rules)...missed the recent post somehow too. No big deal.

You were probably thinking it was like SAC'd...we eliminated the eBay style bidding loophole because some Cat decided to put out mulitple bids at 11:59pm the day before bidding closed....

But fot RFA that shouldn't matter.

It's not really ebay bidding with the RFAs. Teams know it ends 4/30, and need to put up theior best bid by the deadline.

UFA is a much different process.
