Monday May 12th at 12:00am (the 2nd Monday in May each year) this allows about 3 weeks for the NFL draft to be evaluated - 2008 Rookie Draft Begins

This is posted on the 2008 Calendar...you guys really need to get out more often.....

I think in the past it was the first week of May but then their were some vacations so we pushed it back. However, once the draft is over the team with pick one is on the clock so I don't know that we can stop them from picking (aka the Dolphins and Long this year).

Technically, we've allowed teams to pick prior to the "official" start of the draft, but the clock doesn't start until the official start time. IE, the team with the #1 pick can pick anytime, but team #2 doesn't have to pick within 24 hours. They can wait until the start of the draft.

Chompin at the bit are we? Cripes, I don't even have a clue about players this year....of course not having any picks until middle 2nd round does make a diff...besides, we all know :sally: will be taking McFadden...your only decision will be which of Mendenhall, Stewart or Jones goes to the best place to warrant 1.2.....

I don't know about D-Mac #1. I agree it is likely but I am hearing somethings that make me think he may not be the best choice. Of course it is not mine to make!

Yah would love to get started in my reloading process.

I don't know who I'd take yet, so it'ss all up in the air.

If the Raiders draft DMC.... watch out! (I hope not though... we really need help along the DL, not a knock against McFadden - he's a football player with track speed, he's not a track star turned football player.
