The capologist in me says, resigning Westbrook might very well put me in the tough position of having to round out my squad with 100-200 cb players.

However, given this mighty-mite's previous seasons... especially in this PPR league... I have to think the value per dollar is still very high.

Despite the fact that the Opihi have never paid over $3K for a player before, we will MATCH this. Glad he wasn't bumped up more. My predetermined ceiling max on Westy was going to be $3200.

We welcome hardworking, under-appreciated, steady-as-he-goes, Brian "MVP" Westbrook back to the two-time defending Frenzy Championship roster. This is a well-deserved contract bump, Brian. Mahalo for your service.

Westbrook is a stud. Always worthwhile to keep him and with your track of finding cheap productive players, not a bad move.

Bummer, though I fully expected Jim to match.

Truthfully, I was hoping someone would bump him and keep him in play so I could have kept Owens in play as an option.

My goal was to push hard to acquire LT or Westbrook. Since both were out at the same time, I could only go after one. I thought LT was the more likely to be peeled away from his team (cap-wise), so I went for him. I would have bid $3300-3400 on Westbrook had I been off of LT.

Damn, we're only a week in and my RFA season has already been a failure!
