Congrat's Matt!!
What a beatdown! You crushed me this week, guaranteed yourself a winning record (I believe your 1st ever in the Frenzy), AND set yourself up for your a potential wild card playoff berth (also your 1st in 7 years of Frenzy play)!
If you beat the Highlanders, and I lose to the Opihi next week, it's going to come down to the 4th tie-breaker, which is points, and I believe you'll be up 30-40 points going into week 14! Wow. I wish it hadn't come at my expense, but in a way, I'm proud to see the Freedom really turning a corner in the division. Well done Matt! Now I HAVE to find a way to beat those pesky Opihi back in the chilly confines of Buffalo or else a once promising Predators season may come to an unexpected early end! Bring your parkas and boots Jim, we had our 1st measurable snow this morning (about 2 inches). For the Preds, our playoffs start Week 14 against our arch-rivals, in OUR house! Let's play some FOOTBALL! |
Re: Congrat's Matt!!
Thanks but to be honest I would have rather won in the SAC'd where it looks like you have me by about 45 points. Somehow I doubt Moss will outscore Mason by quite that much.

Second, we've already started practicing with the AC turned down to 53 degrees here in the islands (brrrrrr!). We'll be ready for Buffalo, no worries. Plus, our boys are jacked up on the heels of the University of Hawaii Warrior's improbable 12-0 regular season record, with an amazing come-from-behind victory against Washington Saturday night. Next stop, N'wahlins on January 1st vs. the Georgia Bulldogs. Tall order. But I believe we'll give them a run for their money. |

Re: Congrat's Matt!!
Actually, I did not think it had to do with seedings I thought it had to do with my actually having a chance to make the playoffs in the SAC'd. With my loss and Jake's win I thought Jake and I would now be tied for the wildcard (8-5 each) and he would win the tie breaker (since he won the head to head match-up).

Whereas in SACD, I already clinched the wild card, and by losing to you could have lost the division and in turn been seeded 4th and played the Disciples week 1 of the playoffs instead of the Floyds. Not that the Disciples are a weakling by any means, but the Floyds are a powerhouse I'd rather face with the championship on the line. Now it appears likely that SACD's 2 highest scoring teams will face each other week 1 of the playoffs. I really would have preferred giving up the SACD Division crown for a guaranteed Frenzy wild card berth! Now I have my work cut out for next week against those pesky Opihi! |
