RFA Compensation points?

This may have already been address but I thought I would check. Are the points received during the RFA compensation process transferable (tradeable)? I know that the RFA compensation picks are transferable but what about the points themselves?

For example:

Team A has 12 points from losing a second round tender player and they can get a third and a fourth round comp pick.
Team B has 4 points from losing a fourth round tender player and they can get a fourth round comp pick.

Could one of these teams trade to acquire the other teams points to get a second rounder? The end result of this would be going from three comp picks to one which seems like a good thing. The downside would be that it would be at the end of round two rather than one at the end of round three and two at the end of round four.

If this was already addressed please let me know. If not, it might be worth discussing and voting on rather than leaving the rules murky going forward.

I'm not sure where we left this, but I for one would be against the trading of points, as in doing so, you're going to see teams compile points for more 1st rd tenders which is what we were trying to eliminate in the first place.

IMO. once the points have been distributed into picks, then the picks themselves can be traded, but until that point, no movement of points.

Okay, if that is the intent then let's make sure that it's written into the rules that way so we don't have issues later on.

Since it wasn't clear, we'll leave it that you can trade picks, but not points. In my mind, points are kind of like CyberBucks, and we can't trade those.
