Is the injury report out yet? Since Jones was not put on the PUP list, and is not on IR, and the coach hasn't even ruled him out for week 1, I do not believe Jones is eligible at this point.

I just checked NFL.com injury report. No games are listed as of 9 am this morning other than the Thursday game. Crosby sold at 5:57 pm eastern yesterday, so if the injury report is updated by then with Jones as questionable, then you're ok. If Jones is not listed as questionable or worth by then, you'll need to make a different move.

I was thinking the same thing this morning when I put the move in. This one isn't clear cut until an injury report says so and may have to be retracted.

Oddly, the official NFL Injury Report is LATE this week, seeing as it only lists tonights game and no other teams. Did they change things this year? Aren't there supposed to be Wednesday and Friday official Injury reports from the NFL?

I remember the injury report coming out on Thursdays, but basing anything on my memory is a bad idea.

Also, the NFL might push them back a day due to the Labor Day.

I heard yesterday that the blackout rule (must sell out your game by noon Thursday) is often extended by a day on holiday weeks. The same might apply to the injury report.

They've come out Wednesday and Friday evenings around 6pm for years. You may be reading them Thursday morning, but in past years they've been available in the evening on Wednesday.

That's possible I guess, but seeing as the games are not pushed back a day it doesn't really make sense. From a gameplanning and practice standpoint, this is a regular week for most clubs (save Indy and NO), with regular practices and should have been regular injury reporting.

Still nothing on nfl.com. Frank has another hour or so I believe, or else Crosby will be cut and roster penalties will apply, if applicable.

As of 10pm there is still no NFL injury report with Jones on it, thus I've reversed the move, and Crosby gets cut and is now a FA.
