I uunderstand why he was cut, just not sure how "Top 50" positively fit in from a "marketing" standpoint in hoping someone might claim your guy and save you some of the cap hit.

I don't think he was saying that as a selling point. I think he was saying that as a factual explanation of why he was being cut. That's how I took it anyway.

Some guys just aren't worth the snow-job.

I know, but in that case, why not say something like Top10 DL in 2006 to scrap heap LB in 2007.
