Preds make more draft day noise, acquire 1.10 from Floyds
 

After losing out on WR Sidney Rice by 1 spot, the Flying Pigs (aka Falcon Floyds) send picks 1.10 and 3.07 to the Parkwood Predators in exchange for picks 1.12, 3.06, and the Preds 4th rd pick in 2008.

I offered Burt the same deal, but he wanted the 08 pick instead. It worked for both of us.

Strange. Different strokes and all that, I would always discount a pick from next year by around 10 spots but maybe not everybody does that

Well, I may not be thinking straight right now. I now have 11 picks. Just didn't think I'd want to try and make room for all of them. So figured I's start to stockpile picks next year. Might not be the best move, but at this point, it made sense to me....

And I fully expect something to change with comp picks, so it may very well be worth more next year.
