He was on my shortlist, too. Nice pick. I think he'll do better than many of the "experts" are predicting.

I had a trade offer to drop down but I didn't think he would be there. So I had to use the 2.9 on him.

He's accurate, has good mobility, strong arm. Just needs to learn to calm down when things don't go right. I think McNair will be a great help to him. I heard Mcnair asked Balt to draft Smith. Maybe 2-3 yrs could be a good starter.

Read an article about him today... McNair & Smith have been friends for a while. Smith went to his summer camps "back in the day."
