1.17 Chris Henry RB TEN
 

With already addressing my WR in CJ2 and nabbing the QB I targeted in Quinn, my attention was drawn to either Booker or Henry. With Henry having the opportunity to start I would gladly welcome a warm-bodied RB to the Amish.

Please don't be true to the NFL name your brother "Chris Henry CIN" has built for you in terms of suspensions!

Thanks for selecting him. I really didn't want to have to do it at 1.19. Here's another guy with great talent... but personally, I just wasn't sold on him. Then again, I have been known to be wrong on picks before (see that overpriced, washed up RB taking up space on my taxi squad Eric Shelton!).

I'm laying my money on LenDale starting. I know he's had his weight and character issues, but performance has to count for something.

Let's see. White was an All-American RB at USC, leading the team in rushing twice (yes, Reggie Bush was there both of those years).

Henry? Well. Um. He did start 6 games. SIX! In his college career. If he comes in and takes the Tennessee job, this FF owner is going to be on a rampage!!!

This is the #1 reason why the combine is a mistake. So this guy runs an amazing 40 for his size. Whippie-dee-doo. Look what he did on the same team, with the same surrounding talent, and same opponents as Michael Bell. He was dominated by Bell, and Bell couldn't do much for the greatest rushing team of the last 10+ years, so why is Henry going to produce? Now, I'm not knocking the pick here because situation-wise, and NFL draft pick wise it makes sense, but this is a guy who should have fallen a few more rounds in the NFL draft.
