Moss to New England

Interesting deal for NE and only giving up a 4th. They have been a busy team this offseason.

Brady's value goes up even higher IMO. He has WR's now!

Re: Moss to New England

If Moss can get back to his Minn self, it's going to help that whole offense. I heard on ESPN that Moss was recently clocked still in the 4.3's in the 40. So the speed is still there.

But the attitude remains unchanged. Enjoy your upcoming troubles, Pats fans!

This is where I'll still disagree with you. Attitude or no, he wants to win. Moss of his issues came when MN wasn't winning, and of course Oakland never did. NE is a perrenial winner. I think we'll see the Moss of old, not necessarily 1400 yards and 17 TDs, but I see him giving consistent effort and that's all NE needs. They don't need his old prodction, they need his old presence.

[FYI: Brian and I have engaged in a vociferous Moss debate for about 5 years now: me anti, him pro]

Let's not recreate our arguments here. Note, I didn't say a word about production. He may well do fine. No doubt he still has the skills. But production or not, the other issues will surface, and that's all I'm referencing. If the production outweighs the other, then Pats fans will be pleased. But either way, I'll get to revel in the new headlines :D

That's fine. But, my point remains that his "troubles" as you say I think have been historially shown to be inversely proportional to his teams current success.

Makes Valencia's tender much more swallowable now!
Moss in OAK = 3rd or 2nd at best tender

And kinda kills Stallworth's value... or at least cripples it. (same with my man, Caldwell, who's now at best the #3 or 4 WR on the team!)

I don't think it kills Stallworth's with how much Brady tosses the pill around his WR corps... Brady's stock goes up IMO

Hey Joel... As a fellow rookie in this league, I welcome you.. :Welcome :smooch :Pukeface
You will soon find out that I am a :Raiders :homer , with that in mind... I knew that Moss was going to be traded.. Although, I had heard the rumors about :Patriots, I didn't think that Belly would pull the trigger.
I figured :Packers or :49ers would be his destination... The Raiders wanted him gone.. I still can't believe the Pack didn't go for him, it only took a 4th rounder.
Why..? Just because of his fake :moon: to the crowd.. I am sure Randy would have loved to play :Vikings twice a year.
It looks like the Pack is well on it's way back to their :loser status of old... Unbelievable.. I am sure Favre is bummed. He is looking at another tough year.
I think Moss has something to prove and that always makes for a dangerous player.
