Scoring Revisions blow

Well, it looks like I get a loss for week 12 instead of a win. I can't find any info on the play so I have no idea how Driver got an additional 7 yard reception, but he has one now, so I lose.

Fantasy football sucks.

Must be. So I get a little mouthy to a division rival and Jobu, the FF god smites me? Well, if that is the case, then I say F-you Jobu, I do it myself.

At the 2:05 mark of the 4th quarter, on 3rd and 2, Favre thru a 7 yard completion to Driver. NFL.com and all the stat bureaus recorded it as a catch to Ahman Green in error.

I personally saw the play, and noted it, since at the time I only needed to get 0.5pts from Driver to get a H2H win in my local league.

The play has been discussed all over the place, including over at FBG's, as it was such a glaring statistical error and with playoffs looming, impacted a lot of folks in the FF world.

Frenzy and SACD rules allow for stat corrections as long as they're made before the next week starts.

I hadn't realized that it impacted any wins or losses in Frenzy or SACD when I applied the corrections!

FTR, here's an official link from MFL detailing the scoring corrections:

Well, I guess I wasn't trying to claim they are invalid, and I don't troll the sharkpool at this time of year so I missed all the threads there. I am not ....ed that I lost the game, just that I lost the game three days after thinking I had won it. It's the crushing defeat after the fact that ....ed me off. I don't have cable, so I was just monitoring the live scoring and went to bed happy with the win. I would have rather had the crappy evening Monday, for the whole 15 minutes I was awake after the game ended, than tonight, where i see I've now lost and I can be crabby about it for the next several hours.

Also, for the record, I fully endorse scoring revisions, as I think we should score games correctly. It's just when they screw you they get under your skin.

So, congrats Insects. If I have to look for a silver lining, it is that I know who to root for in the Ragers/Insects game now. Go Ragers.

Nah, I didn't think you were challenging the changes, just figured since it had such an impact a complete explanation of the scoring correction was in order. I was totally unaware of how much a difference it made in Frenzy. I knew it impacted me in the NF-FFL, thus I followed the situation closely, and when the correction was finally issued applied to to all 3 leagues I commish at MFL.

If it means anything to ya Brian, I'll be pulling for the Ragers to defeat the Insects as well, particularly since it means 6 of us would be in the hunt for the wildcard spot week 14, which is incredible!

I had NO IDEA the blood boiled so hot between the West division rivals. You guys are almost worse than my Eastern division brethren!
