Anyone else miss Linus Scrimmage?
 

I don't know about you all, but I thought Linus helped bring the league together in the off-season and was a hell of an entertaining read.

Matt, any chance you could bring Linus back, even on a limited once a week basis? We need SOMETHING to bring some life back into the Frenzy.

Ever since the RFA period ended things have been pretty dull. I thought they might pickup once the season started, but now we're 3 weeks in, and things are still pretty dull! Maybe its because I'm 1-2, I don't know, but I want Linus BACK!!!!

We need the humor or we'll all be driven to drink :Alcoholic!

I do miss Linus as well, though I don't think things are as dull, but that may be cause I'm 2-1 (thanks Mike :p ).

I will say that I am almost ready for my weekly statistical artilce. In my other league, its known as the weekly "Notes from the Stat Man." I'll try to come up with a catchier title by next week. While it may not bring the humor that Linus supplied for us in the offseason (it reads more like a baseball box score than a humor piece) it will be at least something that will at least occasionally be a conversation starter.

Also, as I am finishing up my compilations, if there are statistics people are interested in having tracked, let me know and I'll put them in the sheet. I am duplicating what I did in my other league, tracking team records, league records, individual player records, game records etc. I hope to have it ready for after next weeks games, but no promises.

I appreciate the kind words but for now Linus is busy with working and working his way through a six hundred level stat course. I may be able to do something on a very limited basis.

To be honest it is difficult to write things that are really funny since I need to try and trade and manage a team with everyone in this league. I would almost rather see if you could get someone from one of the other leagues hosted here to cover our league on a limited basis and I (or someone else here) could cover their league.

Not sure of the particulars, but part of why it takes me a while and became too difficult was because I kept writing and the deleting paragraphs for fear of either tipping my hand or offending someone.

Anyway, if this sounds like an option let me know and I will see what I can do! BTW, if all else fails I will write for food (scratch that I really need a WR!!!)
