Didn't this auction end at $340? I thought it was a 24 hour time period now.
I'm in Chicago, so internet access is sporadic, but I'll bid $350 just in case I am mistaken.

The clock stops if a player is not sold on Saturday until Tuesday at 12 AM. If a bif is placed Sat. the clock continues as normal and will sell at that time Friday if no bids are made. If bids are made Sunday/Monday than they are treated as bids made at 12 AM Tuesday so they don't sell until 12 AM Wednesday.

:dammit

I couldn't get online from my hotel in Chicago yesterday.
And the 12 in the AM bid didn't give me any time this morning.
Well played.
:nutkick :tool :tribe

And while I am at it, I cannot access any SAC'D specific functions, such as looking at a roster, setting a lineup, etc. For some reason, my main password for Cheezy and my SAC'D league password (why all the freakin' security?) are different. Pressing the "email me my password link" is errr...lets just say that you could live a very long and fulfilled life waiting for that email to arrive. I think if I COULD set a lineup, I may not have chosen to start 6 players on BYEs last week. Hmm...no access to the excel spreadsheet, so I have no clue how much $ I don't have, no access to rosters, can't set a lineup....watch out now, this here 0-3 team is gonna take this itty bitty league by storm...and I'm just gettin warm...Just like Muhammad Ali they called him Cassius...watch me bash this beat like a skull.....

Ouch well the most important thing is access to the Excel spreadsheet as you can keep traack of your cap dollars, so get one fast! I still think you need to assign your rookies contract years!

Second, if you cant set your lienup via MFL.. then just post your starting lineup on the message board and Preds will do it for you.

Yah, the combination of how bad this team is, the multitude of computer related issues, and your references to your buddy every time I rear my head does wonders to lighten my mood.

:Bla

Thanks, Brian.

P.S. can anyone tell from my ramblings the past few days that this conference I'm attending SUCKS?

It's not even October and that joke has gotten old? What a long season this is going to be. Long either for you because there are going to be a lot more mentions, or long for me because I won't go to that well anymore. I haven't decided yet.

LOL, should we mention to Cheezy that your buddy bailed on the subsequent opening that came up in the Frenzy? ;)

Number 1, had he gotten a spot when he initially wanted to, he would have stayed committed before he decided he didn't have the time to give.

Number 2, shadyup.

No no, my friend. Go to that well all you like. Drink of its flowing waters, and be fulfilled. Because with the two fetid, steaming piles of crap that are our respective SAC'D teams, the only folks who will notice that we are even here are each other. Though you DO have one win, so perhaps your pile is a bit easier on the clean-up. A few of those moist towlettes will do.

In all reality, I was just grumpy over missing out on the WR I wanted due to being out of town. In more of a reality, I was just grumpy because being out of town has caused me to not see my newborn son (we brought him home Sunday night, I left for Chicago Tuesday first thing in the morning.) So please, keep the smack coming. My team will be lucky to win 2 games. If I don't have some folks to banter with, It truly will be a long year. My mood improves tonight at midnight eastern when I step through my front door to a sleeping family. Though I may continue to act crabby indefinately towards you, Brian, if only for the fun it brings...

Cheeze head, I don't want to go to the well refering to my friend who's place you took really gets under your skin. Good natured ribbing is all in good fun, but you've got to know where peoples lines are. This is, irnoically enough, a lesson I learned from my friend who's place you took. See, my friend who's place you took was in my local league. Most of the people went to high school with me and my friend who's place you took. My friend who's place you took's team name was the Popes (my friend who's place you took's name can easily be made into a common Pope name, so that was my friend who's place you took's nickname). Anywas, my friend who's place you took was our comish for many years, and as such, my friend who's place you took was often the center of complaints for people, as well as their center for smack talk. A couple of the guys started a refrain, actually putting in their email sigs the phrase "Popes suck." Well, after many many years of this it really started to get under the skin of my friend who's place you took. My friend who's place you took came to me after I in jest said how much it really bothered him, but he just couldn't get the few ringleaders to stop. I took my friend's who's place you took words to heart and didn't use it any more. Anyway, long story short, but I just wanted to share that I learned a lesson from my friend who's place you took, and so if it really will get under your skin to constantly refer to my friend who's place you took, since I learned a good lesson from my friend who's place you took, I will cease refering to my friend who's place you took.
