new MFL site is created, but i have done nothing to it yet, so don't be shocked when you hit the link and you can't do anything yet. will progress this through the weekend. and update as i have things done.

rosters are rolled into new site, all the links should now work,
i still need to roll up salaries, reduce years by 1,
add rookie bonuses
carry over soft cap from previous year
and clear IR,
should have more of this done tomorrow.

For week 1, I still need TE Hayden Hurst, CIN added to my roster. I've listed him my notes as starting this week. Also, RB Miles Sanders, PHI is still listed on my TS but he should be active. Also TE Drew Sample's contract expired so he should no longer be listed on my MFL TS. Thanks!

The Ramsters recognize TE Hurst as a valid addition to the starting lineup for Liquid Swords. Points may be adjusted post game if Hurst can't be added pre game.

So I just realized how important not having active rosters being accurate can be. Some of our tie breakers include power ranking. Part of the power ranking calculation involves bench players. Please make the above corrections as soon as possible. I don't know if it's possible to go back to previous weeks with these adjustments or not (prob not). Thanks!

Actually, we did have a recent change to rules that eliminates the power ranking tiebreaker. Rules page needs updated with that info at some point. Would still like to finally get Sanders on my MFL active roster at some point this year though.

Wow that sucks. On the flip side, use the time to focus on you maybe even your writing. Who knows, maybe it will be an opening to better opportunities.

My son worked for Computer Task Group (local company that is also in Colorado) as a leased employee for IBM tech support, till IBM decided to farm out the jobs overseas with 60 days notice to the 300+ workers in both NY and Colorado. CTG worked with other tech companies to help the impacted employees find new jobs. My son ended up getting a job with Ingram Micro on the Cisco Sales Support team. A way better position that can lead to even better opportunities down the line. Hopefully Oracle works to help you find a job as good or better to what you had.

Or, maybe you work hard to get those books published and become a famous author instead!

Ironically, 11/1 was my termination day as well since the merger I worked on over the last 11 months on to engineer my own termination went final yesterday. Thus, after 35+ years in healthcare administration, I am now somewhat retired and can focus most of my energy on the Travel Agency my wife and I own. I still have to wind down the Practice's A/R and dissolution of the entity over the next 4-6 months, but it's way less time than I previously put in. That said, my "termination" was voluntary. Hoping you come out in a better place when all is said and done Dale!

Yes, I was part of the big Oracle Layoff. Funny what they called it, they eliminated my position. LOL
I think I will be fine, severance package is good. I’ll end up with about 5 months of pay. Insurance is the biggest concern, but Oracle pays my first month of cobra. So I’m good till the 15th of December.

I’ve already begun the focus on my writing and job hunting. Resume should be done in the next few days. Found the old one I used 18 years ago.
I’m looking at this as an opportunity. My whole life when ever one door closed on me, God opened a new and better one for me.
